T1 versus T3/DS3 Internet Access: Which One Do I Really Need?

T3 connections are best for companies that have very heavy data requirements. If you have medium data requirements and wish to transfer files efficiently, a T1’s connection speed of about 1.5 mbps should give you just what you need, without the additional price of a T3.
